Choosing All (of the Champagne)

February 20, 2018

Clink! Clink! It's time for Boozeday Tuesday!! It has been a while since our beloved booze-related segment, and what better time to toast than LENT! This weekend I had the great privilege of speaking to 340+ ladies at the Acadiana Theresians Day of Reflection. I've written some before of my beautiful experiences with my own Theresian community, but this weekend was something so incredibly special. Here is the audio + a facebook live link.

Choosing All: Living a Both/And Life AUDIO

I hope it blesses you as much as a life of Choosing All has blessed me!

In the spirit of St. Thérèse here is a cocktail that is both little + French. Pop some bottles, call up your gal pals, and Choose ALL!

French 75

2 oz. Champagne*

1 oz. Gin

1/2 oz. Lemon Juice

Simple Syrup to Taste*

Turn a French 75 into a "Little Flower" with a shot of Chambord! Voila!

* Your champagne variety will influence how sweet your cocktail is... choice of champagne bitterness is up to you, e.g. Brut, Extra Dry or Extra Sec, Sec, Demi-Sec and Doux. "Life is passing, Eternity draws nigh: soon shall we live the very life of God. After having drunk deep at the fount of bitterness, our thirst will be quenched at the very source of all sweetness." --St. Thérèse of Lisieux
